Interviewing our Transport Collection (Really, Hear Us Out)

A few years ago, our design team set out to create something simple: a timeless tote so free of trendy details that you could carry it for as long as the leather would allow (aka forever). The result: our Transport Tote. Since then, we’ve added some new shapes and sizes, and while they all share the same rugged yet refined style—thanks to fine leather, minimal hardware and tonal stitching—each has its own pretty unique vibe. Allow us, or, um, them, to explain.

#Totewell: Our Transport Tote, By The Numbers

We love a good backstory, especially when it sheds light on an old friend. In this case, our “friend” happens to be our iconic Transport Tote (the bag we so fondly refer to as our “constant companion”). We went to our design team to find out how it all began, from landing on the perfect strap length to the months—yes, months—spent perfecting the shape.

Noticed: The Folded-Over Bag Clutch

This twist on carrying a purse has unfolded—or, more accurately, folded—right before our eyes: tucking a tote gently in half underneath your arm and treating it as a clutch. Sure, it’s a curious idea, but here’s why we’re on board.
